On Analytic Functions with Positive Imaginary Parts
systems, each of which violates the like-numbered postulate and satisfies all the other postulates of the set. These examples are all arithmetic systems, the elements being the numbers 0 and 1. The symbol/(a , b) (mod 2) in an arithmetic system denotes the least positive residue modulo 2 obtained from /(a , b) by rejecting multiples of 2. The operations + and X are to be interpreted as the oper...
متن کاملSome properties of analytic functions related with bounded positive real part
In this paper, we define new subclass of analytic functions related with bounded positive real part, and coefficients estimates, duality and neighborhood are considered.
متن کاملFactorizing complex symmetric matrices with positive definite real and imaginary parts
Complex symmetric matrices whose real and imaginary parts are positive definite are shown to have a growth factor bounded by 2 for LU factorization. This result adds to the classes of matrix for which it is known to be safe not to pivot in LU factorization. Block LDLT factorization with the pivoting strategy of Bunch and Kaufman is also considered, and it is shown that for such matrices only 1×...
متن کاملA Subclass of Analytic Functions Associated with Hypergeometric Functions
In the present paper, we have established sufficient conditions for Gaus-sian hypergeometric functions to be in certain subclass of analytic univalent functions in the unit disc $mathcal{U}$. Furthermore, we investigate several mapping properties of Hohlov linear operator for this subclass and also examined an integral operator acting on hypergeometric functions.
متن کاملOn Positive Functions with Positive Fourier Transforms
Using the basis of Hermite–Fourier functions (i.e. the quantum oscillator eigenstates) and the Sturm theorem, we derive constraints for a function and its Fourier transform to be both real and positive. We propose a constructive method based on the algebra of Hermite polynomials. Applications are extended to the 2-dimensional case (i.e. Fourier–Bessel transforms and the algebra of Laguerre poly...
