On kernels by rainbow paths in arc-coloured digraphs

Abstract In 2018, Bai, Fujita and Zhang [Discrete Math. 341 (2018), no. 6, 1523–1533] introduced the concept of a kernel by rainbow paths (for short, RP-kernel) an arc-coloured digraph D D , which is subset S S vertices such that ( a ) there exists no path for any pair distinct b b every vertex outside can reach in . They showed it NP-hard to recognize whether has RP-kernel NP-complete decide tournament RP-kernel. this paper, we give sufficient conditions existence unicyclic digraphs, semicomplete quasi-transitive digraphs bipartite tournaments, prove these have RP-kernels if certain “short” cycles “small” induced subdigraphs are rainbow.
