On some problems of Bayesian region construction with guaranteed coverages

چکیده
Abstract The general problem of constructing regions that have a guaranteed coverage probability for an arbitrary parameter interest $$\psi \in \Psi $$ ψ ∈ Ψ is considered. developed are Bayesian in nature and the probabilities can be considered as confidences with respect to model obtained by integrating out nuisance parameters using conditional prior given .$$ . Both covering false value (the accuracy) controlled setting sample size. These priori figures merit concerning reliability study while inferences quoted Bayesian. Several problems where obtaining confidence desirable properties proven difficult obtain. For example, it shown approach discussed never leads improper which has issue some regions.

in this thesis our aim is to construct vector field in r3 for which the corresponding one-dimensional maps have certain discontinuities. two kinds of vector fields are considered, the first the lorenz vector field, and the second originally introced here. the latter have chaotic behavior and motivate a class of one-parameter families of maps which have positive lyapunov exponents for an open in...

15 صفحه اولA Bayesian Analysis of Some Nonparametric Problems
Bayesian approach remained rather unsuccessful in treating nonparametric problems. This is primarily due to the difficulty in finding workable prior distribution on the parameter space , which in nonparametric problems is taken to be a set of probability distributions on a given sample space. Two Desirable Properties of a Prior 1. The support of the prior should be large. 2. Posterior distribut...
