چکیده
The study of density-dependent stochastic population processes (DDSPPs) is important from a historical perspective as well the number existing and emerging applications today. In more recent these processes, it can be especially to include time-varying parameters for rates that impact structures behaviors. Under mean-field scaling, we show such time-inhomogeneous DDSPPs converge corresponding nonautonomous dynamical system. We then analogously establish optimal control converges limiting An analysis both system its renders various mathematical properties interest.

A novel data-driven soft sensor is designed for online product quality prediction and control performance modification in industrial units. A combined approach of time variable parameter (TVP) model, dynamic auto regressive exogenous variable (DARX) algorithm, nonlinear correlation analysis and criterion-based elimination method is introduced in this work. The soft sensor performance validation...

We present a method for solving population density equations (PDEs)--a mean-field technique describing homogeneous populations of uncoupled neurons-where the populations can be subject to non-Markov noise for arbitrary distributions of jump sizes. The method combines recent developments in two different disciplines that traditionally have had limited interaction: computational neuroscience and ...
