Onboard Centralized ISL-Building Planning for LEO Satellite Constellation Networks

Large-scale low earth orbit (LEO) satellite constellation projects are increasingly adopting inter-satellite links (ISLs) to enable their autonomous and collaborative operation. Due the large number of network nodes continuous movement in orbit, may not remain visible each other at all times, so ISL-building choices among satellites diverse vary with time. As a result, maintaining topology requires onboard planning management. In this paper, we creatively propose an centralized scheme goal A multi-antenna visibility calculation method that takes antenna installation angle turntable rotation threshold into account is provided for procedure. Additionally, link-building process modeled using integer linear programming (ILP); however, tackle computational complexity problem ILP, based on stability optimization presented. The simulation results show proposed can operate successfully realize status collection, calculation, planning, result distribution, as conducted by dynamic primary satellite. Moreover, inter-plane improves basis reducing delay.
