Optimal Design of Magneto-Force-Thermal Parameters for Electromagnetic Actuators with Halbach Array

A magnetic levitation isolation system applied for the active control of micro-vibration in space requires actuators with high accuracy, linear thrust and low power consumption. The magneto-force-thermal characteristics traditional electromagnetic are not optimal, while a Halbach array can converge induction lines enhance unilateral field. To improve effect, an accurate field analytical model is required. In this paper, non-equal-size was established based on equivalent charge method strength superposition principle. Comparisons were conducted between numerical simulations results proposed model. relationship flux density at air gap size parameters analyzed by means finite element calculation. mirror image adopted to consider influence ferromagnetic boundary density. Finally, parametric actuator established, multi-objective optimization design carried out using genetic algorithm. optimized manufactured experiments verify difference experimental only 5%, which verifies correctness actuator.
