Optimal Location and Sizing of Shunt Capacitors with Distributed Generation in Distribution Systems

چکیده

This paper proposes a novel approach to determine an optimal location and sizing of shunt capacitors for reactive power compensation in distribution systems with distributed generation. Here, the installing is determined using loss sensitivity factor approach. The stochastic nature generation (i.e., wind solar PV powers) has been considered this paper. Optimal by considering minimization as objective function problem solved differential evolution algorithm (DEA). results obtained DEA are also compared genetic (GA) particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithms. effectiveness proposed simulated on IEEE 15, 33, 69 85 bus test systems.
