چکیده
Abstract We explore the optical response of a multimode optomechanical system with quadratic coupling to weak probe field, where cavity is driven by strong control field and two movable membranes are, respectively, excited coherent mechanical driving fields. study cases that are degenerate nondegenerate. For case, it shown only one transparency window occurs transition between optomechanically induced Fano resonance can be realized tuning cavity-control detuning. nondegenerate windows observed absorption spectrum switch single double resonances. Furthermore, we show output greatly amplified or completely suppressed due complex interference effect amplitude phase Our results extended multiple membranes, which enables us light propagation more flexibly.

Optomechanically induced transparency in multi-cavity optomechanical system with and without one two-level atom
We analytically study the optomechanically induced transparency (OMIT) in the N-cavity system with the Nth cavity driven by pump, probing laser fields and the 1st cavity coupled to mechanical oscillator. We also consider that one atom could be trapped in the ith cavity. Instead of only illustrating the OMIT in such a system, we are interested in how the number of OMIT windows is influenced by t...
متن کاملCascaded optical transparency in multimode-cavity optomechanical systems.
Electromagnetically induced transparency has great theoretical and experimental importance in many areas of physics, such as atomic physics, quantum optics and, more recent, cavity optomechanics. Optical delay is the most prominent feature of electromagnetically induced transparency, and in cavity optomechanics, the optical delay is limited by the mechanical dissipation rate of sideband-resolve...
متن کاملParity-time-symmetry enhanced optomechanically-induced-transparency
We propose and analyze a scheme to enhance optomechanically-induced-transparency (OMIT) based on parity-time-symmetric optomechanical system. Our results predict that an OMIT window which does not exist originally can appear in weak optomechanical coupling and driving system via coupling an auxiliary active cavity with optical gain. This phenomenon is quite different from these reported in prev...
متن کاملCooling and squeezing via quadratic optomechanical coupling
We explore the physics of optomechanical systems in which an optical cavity mode is coupled parametrically to the square of the position of a mechanical oscillator. We derive an effective master equation describing two-phonon cooling of the mechanical oscillator. We show that for high temperatures and weak coupling, the steady-state phonon number distribution is nonthermal (Gaussian) and that e...
متن کاملOptomechanically-induced transparency in parity-time-symmetric microresonators
Optomechanically-induced transparency (OMIT) and the associated slowing of light provide the basis for storing photons in nanoscale devices. Here we study OMIT in parity-time (PT)-symmetric microresonators with a tunable gain-to-loss ratio. This system features a sideband-reversed, non-amplifying transparency, i.e., an inverted-OMIT. When the gain-to-loss ratio is varied, the system exhibits a ...
