Orchestrating Learning Together and Development of Team-Trust in Neurologically Typical and Neurologically Atypical Students: A Multicase Study

Contribution: This multicase study compares computer orchestrated learning together (COLT) and student (SOLT) in cooperatively preparing first year university students for collaborative activities. COLT using group environment (COGLE) was perceived efficient, effective, inclusive team effectiveness as it helps build domain knowledge trust between neurologically typical (NT) and/or atypical (NAT) teammates. confirms existing identifies two new antecedents trust, namely, resolving cognitive conflicts real-time updates to knowledge. xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">Background: Industrial organizational psychology literature links effective teamworking with trust. Building within a short period can be challenging, particular mixed teams of NT NAT students. Facilitating teamwork resource hungry. Findings: COGLE’s scaffolding nonsocial prompts cooperation, shared goal orientation, monitoring, working not only helped learn but also develop team-trust quickly.
