Organizational learning capability and its impact on organizational innovation

Purpose This study aims to determine the effect of organizational learning capability (OLC) on innovation (OI) and identify type that is accorded more emphasis by Ethiopian manufacturing firms. Design/methodology/approach applied an explanatory research design, cross-sectional data were gathered through structured questionnaires from general HR managers 197 firms in Addis Ababa Oromia, Ethiopia. The ordinary least square regression method was analyze data. Findings provides empirical insights into how OLC affects OI. findings revealed sampled have scored low mean values terms In addition, had a positive but OI its dimensions. Because their weak institutional support, tended emphasize administrative rather than product process innovations. Research limitations/implications would yielded better results if it built evidence-based reveal radical or incremental OIs are, as well vary across different sectors. theoretical practical implications drawn are also presented.
