چکیده

In this paper, we analyze the outage performance of a rate-splitting multiple access (RSMA)-aided semi-grant-free (SGF) transmission system, in which grant-based user (GBU) and grant-free users (GFUs) base station by sharing same resource blocks. RSMA-aided SGF (RSMA-SGF) GBU admitted GFU are respectively treated as primary secondary using cognitive radio principle. With aid RSMA, GFU’s transmit power allocation, target rate successive interference cancellation decoding order jointly optimized to attain maximum achievable for GFU, without deteriorating GBU’s compared orthogonal access. Taking into account extended non-outage zone achieved rate-splitting, closed-form expression is derived probability considered RSMA-SGF system. Asymptotic analysis also provided. The superior full multiuser diversity gain system verified analytical simulation results.

Grant-Free Massive NOMA: Outage Probability and Throughput

In this paper, we consider a massive uncoordinated non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) scheme where devices have strict latency requirements and no retransmission opportunities are available. Each device chooses a pilot sequence from a predetermined set as its signature and transmits its selected pilot and data simultaneously. A collision occurs when two or more devices choose the same pilot ...

Improved analysis of the outage performance in cellular systems

Center for Wireless Communications, University of California San Diego, 9500 Gilman Dr. La Jolla, CA 92093-0407, USA – fax: +1-619-534-2486 – e-mail: [email protected] Abstract— In this paper, the performance of cellular systems is studied, in terms of average and worst-case outage probability. The approach is based on a new analysis which allows to take into account the assignment of a mobile...

Equation-Free: The Computer-Aided Analysis of Complex Multiscale Systems

The best available descriptions of systems often come at a fine level (atomistic, stochastic, microscopic, agent based), whereas the questions asked and the tasks required by the modeler (prediction, parametric analysis, optimization, and control) are at a much coarser, macroscopic level. Traditional modeling approaches start by deriving macroscopic evolution equations from microscopic models, ...

Outage Analysis of Ambient Backscatter Communication Systems

This paper addresses the problem of outage characterization of an ambient backscatter communication system with a pair of passive tag and reader. In particular, an exact expression for the effective channel distribution is derived. Then, the outage probability at the reader is analyzed rigorously. Since the expression contains an infinite sum, a tight truncation error bound has been derived to ...
