Patterns of wildfire risk in the United States from systematic operational risk assessments: how risk is characterised by land managers

Risk management is a significant part of federal wildland fire in the USA because policy encourages use to maintain and restore ecosystems while protecting life property. In this study, patterns wildfire risk were explored from operational relative assessments (RRA) completed by land managers on 5087 wildfires 2010 2017 every geographic area USA. The RRA formal assessment used develop strategies emerging when concerns issues related are real-time. Only 38% these rated as high 28% had ratings for values at risk.
