Performance analysis of cooperative spectrum sensing using double dynamic threshold

<p>Increased use of wireless technologies and in turn more utilization available spectrum is subsequently leading to the increasing demand for spectrum. This research work incorporates sensing detection consisting a double dynamic threshold followed by cooperative type sensing. The performance has been analyzed using two modulation schemes, quadrature-amplitude-modulation (QAM) & binary-phase-shift-keying (BPSK). Improved probability witnessed where comparison average values local decision (LD) observed value energy (EO) considered instead direct decisions energy. Further, probability-of-detection ( ) found be better with QAM as compared BPSK. From results, it that primary users also affected number samples. simulation environment this MATLAB 500 1000 samples -9db -12 SNR considering different false alarm i. e 0.1,0.3 0.5 analyzed. further scope shall enhance user schemes SNRs.</p>
