چکیده

Intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) is a promising technology to enhance the coverage and performance of wireless networks. We consider application IRS non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA), where base station transmits superposed signals users by virtue an IRS. The IRS-assisted NOMA networks with imperfect successive interference cancellation (ipSIC) perfect (pSIC) investigated invoking 1-bit coding scheme. In particular, we derive new exact asymptotic expressions for both outage probability ergodic rate $m$ -th user ipSIC/pSIC. Based on analytical results, diversity order pSIC in connection number elements channel ordering. high signal-to-noise radio (SNR) slope obtained. throughput energy efficiency IRS-NOMA are discussed delay-limited delay-tolerant transmission modes. Additionally, orthogonal (IRS-OMA). Numerical results presented substantiate our analyses demonstrate that: i) behaviors superior that IRS-OMA relaying schemes; ii) notation="LaTeX">$M$ has larger than benchmarks. However, exceeds schemes low SNR regime; iii) have ability achieve enhanced compared conventional cooperative communications.

Performance Analysis of cooperative SWIPT System: Intelligent Reflecting Surface versus Decode-and-Forward

In this paper, we explore the impacts of utilizing intelligent reflecting surfaces (IRS) in a power-splitting based simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (PS-SWIPT) system and compare its performance with the traditional decode and forward relaying system. To analyze a more practical system, it is also assumed that the receiving nodes are subject to decoding cost, and they are on...

NOMA Assisted Wireless Caching: Strategies and Performance Analysis

This paper investigates the coexistence of two important enabling techniques for future wireless networks, non-orthogonal multiple-access (NOMA) and wireless caching, and we show that the use of NOMA ensures that the two caching phases, content pushing and content delivery, can be more effectively carried out, compared to the conventional orthogonal multiple-access (OMA) based case. Two NOMA ca...

Cooperative HARQ Assisted NOMA Scheme in Large-scale D2D Networks

This paper develops an interference aware design for cooperative hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) assisted non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) scheme for large-scale device-to-device (D2D) networks. Specifically, interference aware rate selection and power allocation are considered to maximize long term average throughput (LTAT) and area spectral efficiency (ASE). The design framework i...

Performance analysis of GSM networks with intelligent underlay-overlay

The paper presents an analytical model for a GSM-based cellular mobile network that applies the Intelligent UnderOverlay (IUO) scheme to increase the capacity by increasing the frequency reuse while maintaining the service quality. The IUO is a multi-layer cell structure that is based on dividing the frequency band into the super layer and the regular layer frequency group. The super frequencie...

Reusable Simulation Models for Performance Analysis of Intelligent Networks

New services will be introduced at a much faster rate than today when Intelligent Networks are employed. It is important to control the process of introducing services and be able to forecast the consequences of a new service. This paper describes a method for performance simulation based on reusable simulation models which can be used for this purpose. The method builds on dividing the simulat...
