چکیده

Background and Aims: Perfusion index, which assesses perfusion dynamics is used as a non‑invasive method in spinal anesthesia cases to detect the occurrence of hypotension. A Index value after hypotension common can be assessed. Methods: In this prospective double-blind observational study, 100 parturients were included. Baseline was recorded carried out with Injection bupivacaine 0.5% (hyperbaric), 10 mg at L3 - L4 / L2 intervertebral space. Perfusion index as a predictor of hypotension following spinal anaesthesia in lower segment caesarean section

BACKGROUND AND AIMS Perfusion index (PI) is a new parameter tried for predicting hypotension during spinal anaesthesia for the lower segment caesarean section (LSCS). This study aimed at investigating the correlation between baseline perfusion index and incidence of hypotension following SAB in LSCS. METHODS In this prospective observational study, 126 parturients were divided into two groups...

Subarachnoid Block a Safe Choice for Cesarean Section in Neurofibromatosis Patient with Severe Kyphoscoliosis

Neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) is an autosomal-dominant neuroectodermal hereditary disorder, in which spinal skeletal deformities are one of the manifestations. Pectus carinatum, temporomandibular joint dysfunction, and kyphoscoliosis can be seen with this genetic disorder which can lead to cardiorespiratory system problems and can cause difficulty in airway management. We present the anestheti...

Successful Spinal Anaesthesia in Patient of Achondroplasia Undergoing Lower Segment Cesarean Section

There are more than 100 different types of dwarfism. Achondroplasia is the commonest form of dwarfism is associated with several bony changes in face, neck, spine, and can also have neurological and cardiopulmonary complications . Thus it presents several challenges to the anaesthesiologist as selecting anaesthetic technique. The aim of this report is to describe the anaesthetic consideration a...

مقایسه‌ی اثرات تجویز کلوئید قبل و بعد ازآنستزی اسپاینال Co-Loading)و (Pre-Loadingدر پیشگیری از هیپوتانسیون مادران دراعمال سزارین

Background and Objective: Hypotension associated with spinal anesthesia for cesarean section is still a clinical problem. The role of crystalloid preloading to prevent hypotension associated with spinal anesthesia in parturients during cesarean section has been challenged. However, studies with crystalloids predict that fluid loading should be more efficacious if administered immediately after ...
