چکیده

The purpose of this study is to identify the differences in porosity and permeability coefficients when mixing ratio aggregates different present satisfying strength requirement compressive specified a specification Korea. Three mix ratios were suggested by considering various aggregate sizes three cylinders made for each ratio. porosities those evaluated through compression water test, measuring weight specimens underwater analysis pictured Computed Tomography (CT) image. Experiments have shown that it best 50% 5–10 mm aggregates, 45% 2–5 5% sand terms permeability. In addition, as proportion fine increased, decreased. Moreover, effectiveness maintenance method was also examined study.

Prediction of Pervious Concrete Permeability and Compressive Strength Using Artificial Neural Networks

Pervious concrete is a concrete mixture prepared from cement, aggregates, water, little or no fines, and in some cases admixtures. The hydrological property of pervious concrete is the primary reason for its reappearance in construction. Much research has been conducted on plain concrete, but little attention has been paid to porous concrete, particularly to the analytical prediction modeling o...

Prediction of Lightweight Aggregate Concrete Compressive Strength

Nowadays, the better performance of lightweight structures during earthquake has resulted in using lightweight concrete more than ever. However, determining the compressive strength of concrete used in these structures during their service through a none-destructive test is a popular and useful method.  One of the main methods of non-destructive testing in the assessment of compressive strength...

Effects of Adding Fibre on Strength and Permeability of Recycled Aggregate Concrete Containing Treated Coarse RCA

Abstract—This paper presents the experiment results of investigating the effects of adding various types and proportions of fibre on mechanical strength and permeability characteristics of recycled aggregate concrete (RAC), which was produced with treated coarse recycled concrete aggregate (RCA). Two types of synthetic fibres (i.e., barchip and polypropylene fibre) with various volume fractions...
