Solutions of Riemann–weber Type Half-linear Differential Equation
We establish an asymptotic formula for a pair of linearly independent solutions of the subcritical Riemann–Weber type half-linear differential equation. We also complement the results of the author and M. Ünal, Acta Math. Hungar. 120 (2008), 147–163, where the equation was considered in the critical case.
متن کاملLinear Perturbations of a Nonoscillatory Second Order Differential Equation Ii
Let y1 and y2 be principal and nonprincipal solutions of the nonoscillatory differential equation (r(t)y′)′ + f(t)y = 0. In an earlier paper we showed that if ∫∞(f − g)y1y2 dt converges (perhaps conditionally), and a related improper integral converges absolutely and sufficently rapidly, then the differential equation (r(t)x′)′ + g(t)x = 0 has solutions x1 and x2 that behave asymptotically like...
متن کاملNumerical Solution of Heun Equation Via Linear Stochastic Differential Equation
In this paper, we intend to solve special kind of ordinary differential equations which is called Heun equations, by converting to a corresponding stochastic differential equation(S.D.E.). So, we construct a stochastic linear equation system from this equation which its solution is based on computing fundamental matrix of this system and then, this S.D.E. is solved by numerically methods. Moreo...
متن کاملOn a Linear Differential Equation of the Advanced Type *
The purpose of this short paper is to study a simple differential equation of the advantage type, see Eq. (1). Such equations appear in several branches of applied mathematics, for example, see [ 1 ] for an application in probability. In this paper and for the simple type of equation considered, we show existence of a solution on any interval [0, T], where T is any positive finite constant, and...
متن کاملLocal Estimates for Modified Riccati Equation in Theory of Half-linear Differential Equation
In this paper we study the half-linear differential equation ( r(t)Φp(x ′) ) ′ + c(t)Φp(x) = 0, where Φp(x) = |x|p−2x, p > 1. Using modified Riccati technique and suitable local estimates for terms in modified Riccati equation we derive new characterization of principal solution and new nonoscillation criteria.
