Physical-mechanical properties and durability of ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC)

This paper presents the results of authors' laboratory testing physical, mechanical and durability properties Ultra-high Performance Concrete (UHPC). The short history development application UHPC concrete is presented in first part this while second deals with experimental investigation, presenting material characterization obtained from physical-mechanical tests. Based on shown paper, mean value compressive strength at 28 days 114 MPa, average density 2270 kg/m3 hardened state. showed that tested belongs to highest class water impermeability V-III, as well MS0 (without visible damage) a simulated freeze-thaw environment de-icing salt attack test. Also, XM3 for abrasion resistance was achieved. Additional tests fulfils requirements exposure classes XC4 XD4, terms carbonation penetration chloride ions. Conclusions recommendations further possible are end paper.
