Physical modeling and sound synthesis of the hi-hat

چکیده
In this paper, we propose a physical model of the hi-hat. Two cymbals are modeled with thin spherical shells, into which point mass resembling stick collides. models proposed for collision two cymbals: spring and an algorithmically mimicked inelastic model. The governing equations derived, discretized using finite difference method, analyzed numerically. Several numerical experiments have revealed validity characteristics
