The microorganisms inhabiting soil perform unique functions in the growth and development of plants. However, little is known about how plant health status affects their potential functions. We examined functional diversity microbiome rhizosphere powdery mildew diseased healthy tomato plants alongside bulk soils South Africa's Northwest Province employing a shotgun metagenomics approach. envisaged that categories would be abundant (HR) plant. collected from healthy, (DR), (BR). After that, DNA was extracted. extracted subjected to metagenomic sequencing. Our result using SEED subsystem revealed total fifteen (15) dominated rhizosphere, seven (7) rhizosphere. At same time, six (6) soil. Alpha (α) assessment did not reveal significant difference ( p > 0.05) all samples, but considerable observed for beta (β) P = 0.01). obtained this research were highly HR. Therefore, study shows groups microbiomes more HR samples as compared others. high prevalence associated with rhizobiomes indicates need establish genes these microbiomes.
