Polarimetric SAR Decomposition Method Based on Modified Rotational Dihedral Model

چکیده
Polarimetric decomposition is an effective way to analyze the scattering mechanism of targets in polarimetric synthetic aperture radar (PolSAR) images. However, analysis urban areas frequently a challenge. Most methods use rotated dihedral derived via rotation matrix model double-bounce buildings. according electromagnetic theory, existing not accurate, especially when orientation angle large. Therefore, contribution with large angles will be difficult extract. To address this problem, based on physical optics (PO) and geometric (GO), interaction process waves rotational analyzed, then modified (MRDM) proposed for accurate representation mechanism. Accordingly, MRDM introduced five-component method (MRDM-5SD) components area. The validity MRDM-5SD demonstrated using several data sets. experimental results show that power contributions increase by MRDM-5SD. can provide support feature extraction target detection areas.

A Modified Model Based Sar Target Decomposition Method for Polarimetric Data
This paper deals with the problems of the negative powers and the overestimated volume scattering power of the Yamaguchi Decomposition, when applied to the urban areas. Three measures, namely the orientation angle compensation, a modified volume scattering model and two power constraints are appended in our algorithm. A RADARSAT-2 quad polarimetric image acquired over the Suzhou City in China i...
متن کاملAccurate Coherent Change Detection Method Based on Pauli Decomposition for Fully Polarimetric SAR Imagery
Microwave imaging techniques, particularly for synthetic aperture radar (SAR), produce high-resolution terrain surface images regardless of the weather conditions. Focusing on a feature of complex SAR images, coherent change detection (CCD) approaches have been developed in recent decades that can detect invisible changes in the same regions by applying phase interferometry to pairs of complex ...
متن کاملA Modified Method for Polarimetric Sar Calibration Algorithm
Present fully polarimetric synthetic aperture radar (SAR) systems often update calibration techniques to further enhance the accuracy to the polarimetric data. In this paper, we propose a modified method to estimate the value of crosstalk based on the corrected observed value. Since Ainsworth calibration algorithm firstly set the value of k to be one. And the value of k relates to the copolariz...
متن کاملAdaptive Decomposition of Polarimetric Sar Covariance Matrices
One of the most complex problems in polarimetric radar imaging is how to interpret the measured covariance matrix in terms of known scattering mechanisms. Two main approaches are commonly used for this purpose. The first, introduced by Cloude [1] involves calculating the eigenvectors of the measured covariance matrix. This method provides a unique result. However, as shown by van Zyl [2], when ...
متن کاملPolarimetric SAR speckle noise model
Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data are affected by speckle noise, originated by the SAR system’s coherent nature. The problem of speckle noise in one-dimensional (1-D) data is already solved, as speckle has a multiplicative characteristic. SAR polarimetry represents an extension to multidimensional data by the use of polarization wave diversity. As a consequence of the existence of a correlati...
