Power Optimization of UOWC-MIMO-OFDM System Based on PSO-WF Algorithm

Abstract Under the constraint that total transmission power is constant, when multiple input output orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) technology applied to signal design in underwater optical wireless communication system (UOWC), traditional water-filling algorithm (WF) uses mathematical derivation solve optimization problem, which requires Lagrangian solutions. In order reduce computational complexity and accelerate convergence speed, a particle swarm (PSO-WF) for water injection proposed. It randomly selects particles target area, calculates fitness, gradually approximates optimal solution avoid negative distribution. The simulation results show that, compared with average allocation scheme, improves capacity operation efficiency by about 80%; Compared WF algorithm, it greatly reduces complexity.
