In this paper, a robustness evaluation of model predictive current control with instantaneous reactive power minimization for three-level four-leg indirect matrix converter is presented. Unbalanced voltages can be extremely dangerous, especially motors and other inductive equipment. have detrimental effect on equipment the system, which exacerbated by fact that small phase voltage imbalance result in disproportionately large imbalance. The test carried out considering balance unbalanced input voltages. proposed predicts behavior load every possible 96 switching states. Subsequently, it selects optimum state fulfils objectives without need modulators. cost function has been adequately modified to consider asymmetrical aspect voltage. Experimental validation using laboratory prototype was conducted FPGA under wide range unbalance. experimental results show high fidelity reference tracking while maintaining relatively low during transient steady-state condition. percentage after setting optimal weighting factor, average found reduce approximately 10-20%.
