The Ghaggar river which is also known as ancient Sarasvati noted for her mysterious disappearance. scholars from different field are studying the channel since 18th century. Archaeologists were intrigued by due to presence of archaeological sites all along basin. Explorations in past resulted in locating hundreds sites, particularly Harappan culture sites.
