چکیده
In the era of precision cosmology and ever-improving cosmological simulations, a better understanding different galaxy components such as bulges discs will give us new insight into galactic formation evolution. Based on fact that stellar populations constituent galaxies differ by their dynamical properties, we develop two simple models for decomposition using IllustrisTNG hydrodynamical simulation. The first model uses single parameter can distinguish 4 components: thin disc, thick counter-rotating disc bulge. second one more parameter, was defined in probabilistic manner, distinguishes bulge disc. number fraction disc-dominated at given mass obtained our agrees well with observations masses exceeding $ \log_{10}(M_*/M_\odot)=10$. S\'ersic indices half-mass radii agree those real galaxies. mode distribution is expected value $n=1$. However, are smaller than galaxies, accordance previous findings simulation produces undersized discs.

PROMODES: A Probabilistic Generative Model for Word Decomposition
For the Morpho Challenge 2009 we present an algorithm for unsupervised morphological analysis called Promodes1 which is based on a probabilistic generative model. The model considers segment boundaries as hidden variables and includes probabilities for letter transitions within segments. Promodes purely concentrates on segmenting words whereas its labeling method is simplistic. Morpheme labels ...
متن کاملA dynamic lattice model for heterogeneous materials
In this paper, the mechanical behavior of three-phase inhomogeneous materials is modeled using the meso-scale model with lattice beams for static and dynamic analyses. The Timoshenko beam theory is applied instead of the classical Euler-Bernoulli beam theory and the mechanical properties of lattice beam connection are derived based on the continuum medium using the non-local continuum theory. T...
متن کاملToward a Dynamic Probabilistic Model for Vestibular Cognition
We suggest that research in vestibular cognition will benefit from the theoretical framework of probabilistic models. This will aid in developing an understanding of how interactions between high-level cognition and low-level sensory processing might occur. Many such interactions have been shown experimentally; however, to date, no attempt has been made to systematically explore vestibular cogn...
متن کاملA probabilistic model of classifier competence for dynamic ensemble selection
The concept of a classifier competence is fundamental to multiple classifier systems (MCSs). In this study, a method for calculating the classifier competence is developed using a probabilistic model. In the method, first a randomised reference classifier (RRC) whose class supports are realisations of the random variables with beta probability distributions is constructed. The parameters of the...
متن کاملOn Probabilistic Completeness of Probabilistic Cell Decomposition
Probabilistic Cell Decomposition (PCD) is a probabilistic path planning method combining the concepts of approximate cell decomposition with probabilistic sampling. It has been shown that the use of lazy evaluation techniques and supervised sampling in important areas result in a high performance path planning method. Even if it was postulated before that PCD is probabilistically complete, we p...
