Process Parameter Optimization for Selective Laser-Melted High-Nitrogen Steel and the Effects on Microstructure and Properties

Chromium nitride powder is blended with pre-alloyed to make an overmatched a high nitrogen concentration in order manufacture high-nitrogen steel by selective laser melting. By employing wider range of process parameters, the impact parameters on relative density, concentration, microstructure, and mechanical properties investigated. In simulated human body fluid conditions, corrosion resistance steel, pure titanium, 316L was compared evaluated. The findings demonstrate that density initially rises then falls increase energy reaching value 98.8% at 148.8 J/mm3. With rising falls. microstructure mainly composed columnar cellular grains. Both grain sizes steadily grow, but their characteristics rise fall as from 83.3 187.3 yield strength, tensile elongation 921.9 MPa, 1205.1 27%, respectively, alloy exhibits outstanding when power 250 W, scanning speed 700 mm/s, associated J/cm3. J/mm3 has lowest rate titanium which suggests HNS will have good conditions.
