Profile Analysis of Students' Problem-Solving Abilities on Impulse-Momentum Physics Material

The potential possessed by students is not only contextual. However, it must be comprehensive and essentially understand the concept of science. Based on results a preliminary study conducted at SMAN 2 Garut using interview techniques with Physics teachers, was revealed that students' learning in schools had implemented various models. achievement outcomes from each model different depending how implementation carried out adjusting appropriate materials. Characteristics who are class cause student responses to differ model. average aspect problem-solving school for physics 22% overall. will judged material if, delivery materials, can achieve objectives certain aspects component indicators aspects. Students' ability subjects has difficulty because understanding materials theoretical focused through formulas or equations Initiating active models stimuli involving participation makes easier highest answer analysis problem description questions 26.5625% lowest criteria assessment logical procession 12% which represents student's profile still low this material.
