Proline Enantiomers Discrimination by (L)-Prolinated Porphyrin Derivative Langmuir–Schaefer Films: Proof of Concept for Chiral Sensing Applications

چکیده

A porphyrin derivative functionalized with the L-enantiomer of proline amino acid was characterized at air–pure water interface Langmuir trough. The dissolved in dichloromethane solution, spread air–subphase and investigated by acquiring surface pressure vs. area per molecule curves. It is worth observing that behavior molecules floating film substantially influenced presence L-proline subphase (10?5 M); on contrary, physical chemical features were only slightly D-proline subphase. Such an interesting chirality-driven selection preserved when transferred onto solid supports means Langmuir–Schaefer method, but it did not emerge a spin-coating technique used for layering tetrapyrrolic derivatives. obtained results represent proof concept realization active molecular layers chiral discrimination: derivatives, due to their intriguing spectroscopic supramolecular properties, can be should detected.
