Proximity effects between two plus-plan shaped high-rise buildings on mean and RMS pressure coefficients

Wind-induced interference effects may result in a significant increase or decrease the wind loads on buildings constructed groups due to modifying flow around, depending shape and relative location of buildings. Experimental study wind-induced mean root square (RMS) pressure coefficients between two tall are investigated detail for various conditions this study. The Interference RMS presented as factors i.e. factor (MIF) (RIF). Results show that local significantly higher windward side's faces near recessed corner. full blockage condition generates suction walls facing gap. half no create more severe effect than blockage. maximum value MIF is 4, 9 13 full, condition, respectively. reduced load side at leeward side. Suction approximately by 65% condition. RIF’s values less unity observed all cases.
