Pt Atomically Dispersed in Black TiO <sub> 2? <i>x</i> </sub> /Cu <sub> <i>x</i> </sub> O with Chiral?Like Nanostructure for Visible?Light H <sub>2</sub> Generation

Material design is one of the major driving forces to enhance intrinsic light harvesting ability a photocatalyst. Herein, black TiO2?x/CuxO with chiral-like structures where Pt single atom (SA) successfully deposited on both TiO2?x and CuxO for visible-light H2 generation reported. well dispersed not only in surface but also at CuxO, forming single-atom alloys. Oxygen defects stabilize SAs deposition, which significantly enlarge space charge layer, facilitating separation transfer photogenerated carriers. This structural optimization endows TiO2?x/CuxO/Pt film excellent visible region, making it promising visible-light-responsive work expected provide insights into rational construction nanostructured materials chiral nematic structure exhibiting improved ability.
