چکیده
We describe the qFunctions Mathematica package for q-series and partition theory applications. This includes both experimental symbolic tools. The set of elements guessers q-difference equations recurrences given fitting/finding explicit expressions sequences polynomials. can symbolically handle formal manipulations on q-differential, recurrences, such as switching between these forms, finding greatest common divisor substitutions. has implementations that automate recurrence system creation weighted words approach well a scheme cylindric partitions. also discuss slight extension classical method weighed present some new sum-product identities.

A MATHEMATICA PACKAGE FOR q-HOLONOMIC SEQUENCES AND POWER SERIES
We describe a Mathematica package for dealing with q-holonomic sequences and power series. The package is intended as a q-analogue of the Maple package gfun and the Mathematica package GeneratingFunctions. It provides commands for addition, multiplication, and substitution of these objects, for converting between various representations (q-differential equations, q-recurrence equations, q-shift...

متن کاملQuaternions: A Mathematica Package for Quaternionic Analysis
This paper describes new issues of the Mathematica standard package Quaternions for implementing Hamilton’s Quaternion Algebra. This work attempts to endow the original package with the ability to perform operations on symbolic expressions involving quaternion-valued functions. A collection of new functions is introduced in order to provide basic mathematical tools necessary for dealing with re...
متن کاملA Mathematica q - Analogue
Mathematica implementations, available by email request, of q-analogues of Gosper's and Zeilberger's algorithm are described. Nontrivial examples are given in order to illustrate the usage of these packages. The algorithms are based on a new approach to q-hypergeometric telescoping in which a new algebraic concept, q-greatest factorial factorization (qGFF), plays a fundamental role.
