Quantum information scrambling and quantum chaos in little string theory

چکیده
A bstract In the current manuscript we perform a systematic investigation about effects of nonlocal interaction to spread quantum information in many body system. particular, have studied how nonlocality influence existing bound on growth rate commutator involving two local operators, butterfly velocity. For this purpose, consider theory worldvolume N ? 1, NS5 branes arising limit vanishing string coupling, ‘little theory’. direct evidence can be realized from ‘volume law’ behavior for most dominant part holographic entanglement entropy. We obtain velocity by studying dynamics near horizon geometry backreacted high energy quanta form shockwave resulting an early perturbation corresponding thermofield double state. observe that increases with scale little theory, inverse Hagedorn temperature ? h , indicating faster due interaction. The same conclusion follows as disruption sided mutual is observed occur at higher values . Finally, realize connection between parameters chaos and quasinormal modes collective excitations through phenomenon ‘pole skipping’.

Scrambling of Quantum Information in Quantum Many-Body Systems
We systematically investigate scrambling (or delocalizing) processes of quantum information encoded in quantum many-body systems by using numerical exact diagonalization. As a measure of scrambling, we adopt the tripartite mutual information (TMI) that becomes negative when quantum information is delocalized. We clarify that scrambling is an independent property of integrability of Hamiltonians...
متن کاملString Theory and Quantum Equation
String theorists Neil Turok of Cambridge University and Paul Steinhardt, Albert Einstein Professor in Science and Director of the Center for Theoretical Science at Princeton believe that the cosmos we see as the result of a Big Bang was actually created by the cyclical trillion-year collision of two universes (which they define as three-dimensional branes plus time) that were attracted toward e...
متن کاملString Theory and Quantum Chromodynamics
I review recent progress on the connection between string theory and quantum chromodynamics in the context of the gauge/gravity duality. Emphasis is placed on conciseness and conceptual aspects rather than on technical details. Topics covered include the largeNc limit of gauge theories, the gravitational description of gauge theory thermodynamics and hydrodynamics, and confinement/deconfinement...
متن کاملMeasuring the scrambling of quantum information
We provide a protocol to measure out-of-time-order correlation functions. These correlation functions are of theoretical interest for diagnosing the scrambling of quantum information in black holes and strongly interacting quantum systems generally. Measuring them requires an echo-type sequence in which the sign of a many-body Hamiltonian is reversed. We detail an implementation employing cold ...
