چکیده
A quantum lattice representation (QLA) is devised for the initial value problem of one-dimensional (1D) propagation an electromagnetic disturbance in a scalar dielectric medium satisfying directly only two curl equations Maxwell. It si found that 4 qubits/node are required. The collision, streaming, and potential operators determined so as to recover second order. Both polarizations considered.

Canonical representation for approximating solution of fuzzy polynomial equations
In this paper, the concept of canonical representation is proposed to find fuzzy roots of fuzzy polynomial equations. We transform fuzzy polynomial equations to system of crisp polynomial equations, this transformation is perform by using canonical representation based on three parameters Value, Ambiguity and Fuzziness.
متن کاملQuantum Maxwell-Bloch equations for spatially inhomogeneous semiconductor lasers
We present quantum Maxwell-Bloch equations ~QMBE! for spatially inhomogeneous semiconductor laser devices. The QMBE are derived from fully quantum mechanical operator dynamics describing the interaction of the light field with the quantum states of the electrons and the holes near the band gap. By taking into account field-field correlations and field-dipole correlations, the QMBE include quant...
متن کاملNumerical Methods for Maxwell Equations
The Maxwell equations describe the interaction of electric and magnetic fields. Important applications are electric machines such as transformers or motors, or electromagnetic waves radiated from antennas or transmitted in optical fibres. To compute the solutions of real life problems on complicated geometries, numerical methods are required. In this lecture we formulate the Maxwell equations, ...
متن کاملMaxwell equations as the one-photon quantum equation
Maxwell equations (Faraday and Ampere-Maxwell laws) can be presented as a three component equation in a way similar to the two component neutrino equation. However, in this case, the electric and magnetic Gauss’s laws can not be derived from first principles. We have shown how all Maxwell equations can be derived simultaneously from first principles, similar to those which have been used to der...
متن کاملMaxwell Optics: I. An exact matrix representation of the Maxwell equations in a medium
Abstract Matrix representations of the Maxwell equations are well-known. However, all these representations lack an exactness or/and are given in terms of a pair of matrix equations. We present a matrix representation of the Maxwell equation in presence of sources in a medium with varying permittivity and permeability. It is shown that such a representation necessarily requires 8×8 matrices and...
