Quantum Lorentz group having Gauss decomposition property

A new deformation of SL(2,C) (considered as a real Lie group) is constructed and shown to have a Gauss type decomposition. The groups entering this decomposition are identified as Eμ(2) and its Pontryagin dual Êμ(2). The whole group is the double group built over Eμ(2).

Graphs Having the Local Decomposition Property

Let H be a fixed graph without isolated vertices, and let G be a graph on n vertices. Let 2 ≤ k ≤ n− 1 be an integer. We prove that if k ≤ n− 2 and every k-vertex induced subgraph of G is H-decomposable then G or its complement is either a complete graph or a complete bipartite graph. This also holds for k = n − 1 if all the degrees of the vertices of H have a common factor. On the other hand, ...

Gauss Decomposition for Quantum Groups and Supergroups

The Gauss decompositions of the quantum groups, related to classical Lie groups and supergroups are considered by the elementary algebraic and R-matrix methods. The commutation relations between new basis generators (which are introduced by the decomposition) are described in some details. It is shown that the reduction of the independent generator number in the new basis to the dimension of re...

20 09 Heisenberg - Lorentz Quantum Group

In this article we present a new deformation of SL(2,C) on the C∗-algebra level. The method of its construction is the Rieffel deformation. We give a detailed description of so obtained a quantum group (A,∆) in terms of affiliated elements α̂, β̂, γ̂, δ̂ ∈ A generating A. In order to construct β̂, we split A onto parts on which β̂ can easily be defined and then show that gluing procedure can be perfo...

On Gauss decomposition of quantum groups and Jimbo homomorphism

It is shown that the properties of the Gauss decomposition of quantum groups and the known Jimbo homomorphism permit us to realize these groups as subalgebras of well defined algebras constructed from generators of the corresponding undeformed Lie algebras.
