Quasilinear theory of Brillouin resonances in rotating magnetized plasmas

Both spin and orbital angular momentum can be exchanged between a rotating wave magnetized plasma. Through resonances the of coupled to both cyclotron rotation drift particles. It is, however, shown that Landau resonance conditions which classically describe resonant energy–momentum exchange waves particles are no longer valid in plasma column. In this case new condition involves matching frequency, frequency modified by inertial effects harmonics guiding centre is identified. A quasilinear equation describing exchanges through these Brillouin then derived, used expose wave-driven radial current responsible for absorption.
