چکیده
Climate change has become a global issue, not only because it affects the intensity and frequency of rainfall but also impacts economic development regions whose economies heavily rely on rainfall, such as West African region. Hence, need for this study, which is aimed at understanding how may in future over Sahel, Savannah, coastal zones Volta River Basin (VRB). The trends changes between 2021–2050 1985–2014 under Shared Socioeconomic Pathway (SSP2-4.5 SSP5-8.5) scenarios were analyzed after evaluating performance three climate models from Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 6 (CMIP6) using Hazards Group InfraRed Precipitation with Station data (CHIRPS) observation. results show, general, relatively high correlation low spatial biases (r > 0.91, −20% < Pbias 20%) entire models’ ensemble mean. An increasing trend projected increase annual SSP2-4.5 scenario 6.0% (Sahel), 7.3% (Savannah), 2.6% (VRB), decrease 1.1% zone. Similarly, SSP5-8.5, to by 32.5% +22.8% 23.0% (coastal), 24.9% being more pronounced SSP5-8.5 compared scenario. findings study would be useful planning designing adaptation measures achieve sustainable VRB.

An overview of results from the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project
The Coupled Model Intercomparison Project (CMIP) collects output from global coupled ocean–atmosphere general circulation models (coupled GCMs). Among other uses, such models are employed both to detect anthropogenic effects in the climate record of the past century and to project future climatic changes due to human production of greenhouse gases and aerosols. CMIP has archived output from bot...

One of the most significant guiding criteria in project design and implementation is sustainable development. Banks play a critical role in environmental protection and the transition to a green economy. Green financing is an innovative financial tool that aims to achieve ecological balance while promoting economic growth. The current study intends to construct and analyze a project financing m...
متن کاملThe Southern Ocean in the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project phase 5
The Southern Ocean is an important part of the global climate system, but its complex coupled nature makes both its present state and its response to projected future climate forcing difficult to model. Clear trends in wind, sea-ice extent and ocean properties emerged from multi-model intercomparison in the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project phase 3 (CMIP3). Here, we review recent analyses o...
متن کاملAnalysis of Streamflow Changes under Climate Change Using Rainfall-Runoff Model in the Kor River Basin
Abstract In this study, the predicted monthly temperature and rainfall data from HadCM3 model (base period, ۱۹۷۲-۲۰۰۱) and next period (۲۰۱۱-۲۰۴۰) under A2emission scenario were used to investigate the impacts of climate change on runoff variations in the Kor river basin. HadCM3 model output was downscaled based on a temporal downscaling approach (Change Factor) and spatial downscaling appro...
