Rate-Compatible Protograph LDPC Codes for Source Coding in Joint Source—Channel Coded Modulation Systems

چکیده

Using the source residual redundancy in a joint and channel coded modulation (JSCCM) system to achieve shaping gain has proven be good solution for probabilistic amplitude shaping. In JSCCM system, rate-compatible codes are essential adapting dynamically changing probabilities. However, conventional not appropriate systems, since they may yield loss gain. Moreover, code design that depends solely on decoding threshold appears ill suited, thus complicating search codes. this paper, we propose family of systems based an achievable rate analysis protograph extrinsic information transfer (PEXIT) algorithm. The proposed only have thresholds but also obtain gains over whole considered range Numerical results show can significantly improve bit-error-rate (BER) performance system.
