This research focuses on strategies for reading comprehension and engagement students with ASD. There are few studies about the word decoding of autism. Research indicates that only two investigated to improve among these students. For example, a study Reading Comprehension Profiles High-Functioning Students Autism Spectrum (2012) found using anaphoric cueing or asking define pronouns after they have been used in has proven effective improving comprehension. In another study, Children With Disorder Literacy Instruction: An Exploratory Study Elementary Inclusive Settings (2001), researchers improved when general education were taught use reciprocal questioning. type questioning allows ask teacher questions so can demonstrate understanding. Further, this strategy increased number generated, responses story map.
