Recent advances in single?cell multimodal analysis to study immune cells

چکیده
Recent advances in single-cell technologies have enabled the profiling of genome, epigenome, transcriptome and proteome, along with temporal spatial information individual cells. These provided unique opportunities to understand mechanisms underpinning immune system, such as characterizations molecular cell state, how state evolves its lineage impact location on state. In this review, we discuss these been studied through recent multimodal technologies.

Recent advances in multimodal analgesia.
Greater understanding of the pathophysiology and mechanism of acute pain has led to advances in pharmacologic therapy. Understanding the principles of multimodal therapy along with surgical-specific protocols leads to improved outcome in patients. However, further large-scale randomized trials need to be performed to further establish and demonstrate the long-term benefit of multimodal therapy ...
متن کاملRecent Technological Advances in Hepatogenic Differentiation of Stem Cells Relevant to Treatment of Liver Diseases
Liver failure, in an acute or chronic form, is a growing health problem ranking as one of the leading causes of death worldwide. Inborn errors of metabolism characterized by defects in hepatic enzymes or other proteins with metabolic functions, such as receptors or transporters accompanied with environmental factors involve etiology and presentation of liver failure. Currently, the only establi...
متن کاملRecent Advances in Hemophilia Gene Therapy
Heterogeneous loss of function mutations at F8 and F9 genes causes X-linked recessive bleeding disorders, hemophilia A (HA) and hemophilia B (HB), respectively. HA is clinically indistinguishable from HB and accounts for more than 80% of hemophilia cases; the former affects 1/5000 and the latter 1/25000 male births worldwide. In Iran, it is estimated that around 4300 HA and 900 HB patients are ...
متن کاملUnderstanding Multimodal Emotional Expressions: Recent Advances in Basic Emotion Theory
August 2015 – Basic Emotion Theory has proven to be a highly fruitful yet controversial set of ideas in the science of emotion, generating vigorous debate over the past 30 years (Barrett, Lindquist, & Gendron, 2007; Ekman, 1992; Ortony & Turner, 1990; Russell, 1994). At its core, Basic Emotion Theory consists of specific theses concerning (1) what the emotions are – in general terms, they are b...
متن کاملRecent Advances in Higher-Order, Multimodal, Biomedical Imaging Agents.
Advances in biomedical imaging have spurred the development of integrated multimodal scanners, usually capable of two simultaneous imaging modes. The long-term vision of higher-order multimodality is to improve diagnostics or guidance through the analysis of complementary, data-rich, co-registered images. Synergies achieved through combined modalities could enable researchers to better track di...
