Recent Developments of Light-Harvesting Excitation, Macroscope Transfer and Multi-Stage Utilization of Photogenerated Electrons in Rotating Disk Photocatalytic Reactor

The rotating disk photocatalytic reactor is a kind of wastewater treatment technique with high application potential, but the light energy utilization rate and photo quantum efficiency still need to be improved. Taking photogenerated electrons as starting point, following contents are reviewed in this work: (1) Light-harvesting excitation electrons. Based on thin solution film reactor, photoanodes capture structures from macro perspective, research progress structure catalysts based BiOCl also micro perspective. (2) Macroscope transfer fuel cell reactors reviewed. system can effectively convert chemical organic pollutants into electrical through macroscopic (3) Multi-level transferred cathode generate H2O2 oxygen or H2 H+, reduction products further utilized deeply mineralize reduce nitrate water. This short review will provide theoretical guidance for techniques treatment.
