چکیده
For a Level 3 automated vehicle, according to the SAE International Automation Levels definition (J3016), identification of non-driving activities (NDAs) that driver is engaging with great importance in design an intelligent take-over interface. Much existing literature focuses on strategy associated Human-Machine Interaction design. This paper proposes dual-camera based framework identify and track NDAs require visual attention. achieved by mapping driver's gaze using nonlinear system approach, object scene, recognised deep learning algorithm. A novel gaze-based region interest (ROI) selection module introduced contributes about 30% improvement average success rate 60% reduction processing time compared results without this module. has been successfully demonstrated five types NDA required attention 86.18%. The outcome research could be applicable other tracking within certain window potentially used evaluate level for both human-driving vehicles.

Quadrotor control using dual camera visual feedback
In this paper, a vision-based stabilization and output tracking control method for a four-rotor helicopter has been proposed. A novel 2 camera method has been described for estimating the full 6 DOF pose of the helicopter. This two camera system is consisting of a pan-tilt ground camera and an onboard camera. The pose estimation algorithm is compared in simulation to other methods (such as four...
متن کاملControl of a Quadrotor Helicopter Using Dual Camera Visual Feedback
In this paper we propose a vision-based stabilization and output tracking control method for a model helicopter. A novel two-camera method is introduced for estimating the full six-degrees-of-freedom pose of the helicopter. One of these cameras is located on-board the helicopter, and the other camera is located on the ground. Unlike previous work, these two cameras are set to see each other. Th...
متن کاملA Proposed Simple Teleradiology System Using a Digital Camera
Background & Aims: Teleradiology as an efficient way for avoiding unnecessary transfer of patients to special medical centers requires the images with digital format. However, in some developing countries, including Iran, imaging is being done using non digital devices. In such cases, changing analog images into digital ones can solve the problem. The method which is nowadays used for digita...

Abstract The multitude of communication and infotainment features of modern cars enable drivers to perform many tasks on the go. If these tasks are not directly related to maneuvering the vehicle (i.e., the primar...
متن کاملTemporal and Hierarchical HMM for Activity Recognition Applied in Visual Medical Monitoring using a Multi-Camera System
We address in this paper an improved medical monitoring system through an automatic recognition of human activity in Intensive Care Units (ICUs). A multi camera vision system approach is proposed to collect video sequence for automatic analysis and interpretation of the scene. The latter is performed using Hidden Markov Model (HMM) with explicit state duration combine at the management of the h...
