This study was conducted with the aim of testing effect recruitment and competence on employee performance placement as an intervening variable at University dr. Soebandi Jember. The population used in this were all employees Jember, totaling 108 people, which research samples. measuring instrument is a questionnaire that will be tested by validity reliability data. To answer hypothesis using partial least squares (PLS). results first indicate there positive significant job placement. result second third performance. fourth are fifth work sixth indirect through seventh influence from application
