E-Clean Matrices and Unit-Regular Matrices
Let $a, b, k,in K$ and $u, v in U(K)$. We show for any idempotent $ein K$, $(a 0|b 0)$ is e-clean iff $(a 0|u(vb + ka) 0)$ is e-clean and if $(a 0|b 0)$ is 0-clean, $(ua 0|u(vb + ka) 0)$ is too.
متن کاملSingular values of convex functions of matrices
Let $A_{i},B_{i},X_{i},i=1,dots,m,$ be $n$-by-$n$ matrices such that $sum_{i=1}^{m}leftvert A_{i}rightvert ^{2}$ and $sum_{i=1}^{m}leftvert B_{i}rightvert ^{2}$ are nonzero matrices and each $X_{i}$ is positive semidefinite. It is shown that if $f$ is a nonnegative increasing convex function on $left[ 0,infty right) $ satisfying $fleft( 0right) =0 $, then $$2s_{j}left( fleft( fra...
متن کاملGENERALIZED REGULAR FUZZY MATRICES
In this paper, the concept of k-regular fuzzy matrix as a general- ization of regular matrix is introduced and some basic properties of a k-regular fuzzy matrix are derived. This leads to the characterization of a matrix for which the regularity index and the index are identical. Further the relation between regular, k-regular and regularity of powers of fuzzy matrices are dis- cussed.
متن کاملMore about measures and Jacobians of singular random matrices
In this work are studied the Jacobians of certain singular transformations and the corresponding measures which support the jacobian computations.
متن کاملTridiagonal Matrices and Boundary Conditions
We describe the spectra of certain tridiagonal matrices arising from differential equations commonly used for modeling flocking behavior. In particular we consider systems resulting from allowing an arbitrary boundary condition for the end of a one-dimensional flock. We apply our results to demonstrate how asymptotic stability for consensus and flocking systems depends on the imposed boundary c...
