the impact of using inspirational quotes on abstract vocabulary recall
the present study is an attempt to investigate the potential impact of inspirational quotes on improving english abstract vocabulary recall. to achieve this goal, a multiple choice language proficiency test of 60 items including vocabulary and grammar component was administered to a sample of 63 second-semester male and female students whose age ranged between 17 to 22 and they were studying en...
15 صفحه اولConcrete and discrete operator reproducing formulae for abstract Paley–Wiener space
The classical Paley–Wiener space possesses two reproducing formulae; a ‘concrete’ reproducing equation and a ‘discrete’ analogue, or sampling series, and there is a striking comparison between them. It is shown that such analogies persist in the setting of Paley–Wiener spaces that are more general than the classical case. In fact, there are ‘operator’ versions of the reproducing equation and of...
متن کاملInvertibility of the Gabor frame operator on the Wiener amalgam space
We use a generalization of Wiener’s 1/f theorem to prove that for a Gabor frame with the generator in the Wiener amalgam space W (L∞, ` )(R), the corresponding frame operator is invertible on this space. Therefore, for such a Gabor frame, the generator of the canonical dual belongs also to W (L∞, ` )(R).
متن کاملCumulants on the Wiener Space
We combine infinite-dimensional integration by parts procedures with a recursive relation on moments (reminiscent of a formula by Barbour (1986)), and deduce explicit expressions for cumulants of functionals of a general Gaussian field. These findings yield a compact formula for cumulants on a fixed Wiener chaos, virtually replacing the usual “graph/diagram computations” adopted in most of the ...
متن کاملA Change of Scale Formula for Wiener Integrals of Cylinder Functions on the Abstract Wiener Space Ii
We show that for certain bounded cylinder functions of the form F(x) = μ̂((h1,x)∼, . . . ,(hn,x)∼), x ∈ B, where μ̂ :Rn → C is the Fourier-transform of the complexvalued Borel measure μ on (Rn), the Borel σ -algebra of Rn with ‖μ‖ < ∞, the analytic Feynman integral of F exists, although the analytic Feynman integral, limz→−iq Iaw(F ;z)= limz→−iq(z/2π) ∫ Rn f( →u)exp{−(z/2)| →u|2}d →u, do not alwa...
