Relation between environmental factors and structure of Atlantic Forest fragments

چکیده
Forest fragmentation affects the structure and interactions of plant communities on several levels is considered one causes extinction species. This study aimed to verify if size, isolation, altitude soil attributes influence species richness, basal area, abundance composition in Atlantic fragments. We sampled shrubby-arboreal individuals ten fragments, measured isolation. To effects environment abundance, richness we utilized generalized linear mixed models; detect patterns distribution concerning altitude, constructed ordination histograms; determine associations between composition, performed a canonical correspondence analysis. A group was related soils with higher Base Saturation, Organic Matter, Phosphorus, Silt pH; another had more relationship variables such as Aluminium, Iron, Clay Altitude, third Sulfur, Zinc Boron. Some occurred only smaller less elevated others were exclusive larger The size isolation fragments did not explain richness. interaction texture nutrients changes community. Species area density fertile soils. increases fragment

Meiofauna and macrofauna community structure in relation with environmental factors at South of Caspian Sea
Biodiversity and distribution of benthic Meiobenthos in the sediments of the Southern Caspian Sea) Mazandaran) was studied in order to introduce and determine their relationship with the environmental factors. From 12 stations (ranging in depths 5, 10, 20 and 50 meters), sediment samples were gathered in four seasons (2012). Environmental factors of water near the bottom including temperature, ...
متن کاملMicroclimate of Atlantic Forest Fragments: Regional and Local Scale Heterogeneity
The aim of this work was to investigate whether (i) the organisms within different fragments, on regional scale (separated by up to 100 km), could be submitted to similar climatic conditions (rainfall and temperature), and whether (ii) the edge formation in forest fragments could stimulate microclimatic changes (canopy cover, air temperature and soil humidity), on local scale. The organisms wit...
متن کاملEffects of climate and forest structure on palms, bromeliads and bamboos in Atlantic Forest fragments of Northeastern Brazil.
Palms, bromeliads and bamboos are key elements of tropical forests and understanding the effects of climate, anthropogenic pressure and forest structure on these groups is crucial to forecast structural changes in tropical forests. Therefore, we investigated the effects of these factors on the abundance of these groups in 22 Atlantic forest fragments of Northeastern Brazil. Abundance of bromeli...
متن کاملFactors Associated with the Seroprevalence of Leishmaniasis in Dogs Living around Atlantic Forest Fragments
Canine visceral leishmaniasis is an important zoonosis in Brazil. However, infection patterns are unknown in some scenarios such as rural settlements around Atlantic Forest fragments. Additionally, controversy remains over risk factors, and most identified patterns of infection in dogs have been found in urban areas. We conducted a cross-sectional epidemiological survey to assess the prevalence...

translation studies have become an accepted academic subject and books, journals and doctoral dissertations appear faster than one can read them all (bassnet and lefevere, 1990). but this field also brought with itself so many other issues which needed to be investigated more, in the heart of which, issues like ideology, ethics, culture, bilingualism and multilingualism. it is reported that ove...
