چکیده
We present a new derivation of relativistic second-order dissipative hydrodynamics for quantum systems using Zubarev’s non-equilibrium statistical-operator formalism. This is achieved by systematic expansion the energy–momentum tensor and charge current to second order in deviations from equilibrium. As concrete example, we obtain relaxation equations shear-stress tensor, bulk-viscous pressure, charge-diffusion currents required close set motion hydrodynamics. also identify transport coefficients which describe processes express them terms equilibrium correlation functions, thus establishing Kubo-type formulas coefficients.

Causal Theory of Relativistic Dissipative Hydrodynamics
We present a new formalism for the theory of relativistic dissipative hydrodynamics, where covariance and causality are satisfied by introducing the memory effect in irreversible currents. Our theory has a much simpler structure and thus has several advantages for practical purposes compared to the Israel-Stewart theory (IS). We apply our formalism to the Bjorken model and the results are shown...
متن کاملPrimordial Black Holes from Non–equilibrium Second Order Phase Transition
The collapse of sufficiently large closed domain wall produced during second order phase transition in the vacuum state of a scalar field can lead to the formation of black hole. The origin of domain walls with appropriate size and energy density could be a result of evolution of an effectively massless scalar field at the inflational epoch. We demonstrate that in this case the situation is val...
متن کاملDissipative effects from transport and viscous hydrodynamics
We compare 2 → 2 covariant transport theory and causal IsraelStewart hydrodynamics in 2+1D longitudinally boost invariant geometry with RHIC-like initial conditions and a conformal ε = 3p equation of state. The pressure evolution in the center of the collision zone and the final differential elliptic flow v2(pT ) from the two theories agree remarkably well for a small shear viscosity to entropy...
متن کاملNon-equilibrium hydrodynamics of a rotating filament
– The nonlinear dynamics of an elastic filament that is forced to rotate at its base is studied by hydrodynamic simulation techniques; coupling between stretch, bend, twist elasticity and thermal fluctuations is included. The twirling-overwhirling transition is located and found to be strongly discontinuous. For finite bend and twist persistence length, thermal fluctuations lower the threshold ...
متن کاملNon equilibrium statistical mechanics
In part I of these lecture notes, I introduce the basic tools of non equilibrium statistical mechanics: linear response, Brownian motion, Langevin equation, (Pauli) master equation. Part II is devoted to a derivation of quantum master equations from the Schrödinger equation, and to some of their applications to quantum optics and to Brownian motion. Finally, in part III, I examine more recent d...
