Reply to the Comment on 'The operational foundations of PT-symmetric and quasi-Hermitian quantum theory'

This document is our reply to the Comment (Miloslav Znojil 2023 J. Phys. A: Math. Theor. 56, 038001) on recent work titled `The operational foundations of PT-symmetric and quasi-Hermitian quantum theory'. The original consists three addenda work. first addendum claims that ill-motivated as motivating question, namely whether theory extends standard theory, was already answered in literature. second points some missing references work, third suggests what constraints could lead an extension theory. In reply, we explain claim a result misinterpretation question. When interpreted correctly, itself elaborates why question interesting relevant. We also briefly comment prospects along lines suggested addendum. As response addendum, rationale behind citing certain while leaving out others.
