Research on Interaction Relationship between Support and Surrounding Rock in Fault Structural Area and Its Application

Abstract In order to solve the problem of support crushing, rib spalling, and partial roof fall in working face crossing fault structure area, taking II1023 Haizi Mine as engineering background, numerical simulation, theoretical analysis, field measurement were used simulate rock activity law process fault. Based on this, mechanical model interaction between surrounding area was established, calculation formula strength required by under different equilibrium criteria deduced, which provides a basis for reasonable selection hydraulic support. The results show that stress passing through zone is divided into high-stress section when it gradually close low-stress after section, increases front face, distribution form similar narrow coal pillar. easily forms long hanging slip along surface, prone spalling crushing. mainly related dip angle, cohesion, beam length, length main beam, distance should be determined criteria. When advances with increase angle decreases With rotary instability changes probability increases. practice shows during resistance characteristics high-pressure low-pressure but does not exceed rated selected fully mechanized passed safely, there no accidents such fall.
