چکیده

The cone bit is the most principal rock breaking tool in drilling engineering. statistical analysis of field data shows that early damage and failure sliding bearing one main reasons affect service life performance real process. Aiming at complex working environment with heavy load, high temperature mixed lubrication, paper establishes a multilevel line contact model rough surface carries out finite element modeling from perspective mechanics. Then Von Mises stress, Residual normal deformation Inelastic dissipated energy are obtained under different cycles loading-unloading. results show increase loading-unloading, part edge area enters into elastic shakedown asperities central occur irreversible plastic deformation, which has significant influence on stability bit.

slope stability and bearing capacity of footings on top of slopes under repeated dynamic loads

although bearing capacity of footings on top of slopes under monotonic loadings have been investigated widely so far, safety and bearing capacity of these structures against repeated dynamic loads have not been considered well enough. in this paper, lower bound dynamic shakedown theorem in its numerical form has been employed to firstly obtain bearing capacity of strip footings on top of slopes...

Earthquake Analysis of 3-D Structures on Sliding Foundation Using Yield Equation of the Contact Surface

A solution technique for the dynamic analysis of asymmetric base-isolated buildings, subject to earthquake ground motion, is presented. To develop the formulation, a yield surface as a function of both shear force and torsion moment of the sliding surface with rigid perfectly plastic behavior is constituted. To achieve the objective, the yield stress is defined by the friction coefficient throu...

Sliding Surface Matched Condition in Sliding Mode Control

In this paper, the recently developed sliding surface matching condition (SSMC) is viewed from a new point that the mismatched uncertain term should satisfy the minimum-phase condition for the nominal system. With this new viewpoint, SSMC is extended to a more general class of system with nonlinear uncertainties. Finally, a numerical example demonstrates the results.

Deformation, structural changes and damage evolution in nanotwinned copper under repeated frictional contact sliding

Nanotwinned metals have the potential for use as structural materials by virtue of having a combination of high strength as well as reasonable ductility and damage tolerance. In the current study, the tribological response of nanotwinned copper has been characterized under conditions of repeated frictional sliding contact with a conical tip diamond indenter. Pure ultrafine-grained copper specim...
