Research on Simulation of Automatic Reclosing Devices for Overhead Line Failures in Extreme Weather Conditions

In order to improve the reliability of power system and provide uninterrupted consumer, automatic reclosing (ARC) devices are often used in overhead lines. On top that, condition short-circuit elimination or removal during ARC recloser depends on many random factors. this article, number outages 110 kV lines Khangai region Mongolia was studied, statistics device operation were compared with international standards. Also, from works produced by scientists foreign countries, development level innovative trends opportunity introduce them Mongolia’s grid sought. Furthermore, transmission outage installed studied. Hence, average success rate last ten years 76%. It also found that is 8 per year average, which 2 - 3 times higher than norm. Eventually, scheme region, especially Bulgan-Murun distribution network, modelled Digsilent Powerfactory including features model checked load flow function software.
